Dusk brings a crisp cooling
as the petals begin to close,
and row upon row of flowers
begin to doze, in sleepy anticipation of the morrow.
When if you listen, you can hear;
a flower sneeze, in the warming
spring breeze

The restless night rain
Restless rain
floods my mind
as it floods the drain
swirling around in a flush
gushing down the lane
beating on me like a bully
beating upon my broken window pane
peeping through the cracks
I see the dark night’s stain
a melancholy mood
my heart’s only claim
restless through and through
with my eyes pouring pain
I can’t move
bound by another’s chain
sinking
drowning
in the restless rain

Do not be afraid to color outside the lines. Take risks and do not be afraid to fail. Know that when the world knocks you down, the best revenge is to get up and continue forging ahead.Do not be afraid to be different or to stand up for what’s right. Never quiet your voice to make someone else feel comfortable. No one remembers the person that fits in. It’s the one who stands out that people will not be able to forget.
